This picturesque parkland course has matured more than its age would suggest, and features many interesting holes and intriguing features. The 18th is of particular note – a 151-yard par 3 over water to a bunkered green providing a stern test at the end of an enjoyable round. Make sure you arrive at this hole with your ‘A’ game, as it has the potential to ruin many a scorecard!

Location

Located just 20 minutes east of York, easily accessible from the A1079.

Golf course

Established in only 1994, this venue has quickly confirmed itself as one of the better courses in the Yorkshire area, and most are surprised by its relative maturity. There is a very well stocked pro shop for any last minute buys as well as a lovely clubhouse which makes the perfect setting for a deserved post-round drink. If you are in the area, this course is well worth playing.

A cracking course and always well maintained, this course will provide a good test for low and high handicappers alike, and will not disappoint.
