Ashton & Lea is a par 71 parkland course which is set in the charming countryside with some picturesque views over Preston from certain holes. The course measures 6,290 yards in length and features some tricky long distance par 4’s as well as some challenging shots over natural water features. A highlight of the course is the tough par-4 13th hole where golfers must decide whether to gamble on clearing the water that lies 210 yards from the tee or laying-up short for a longer second shot.

Ashton & Lea Golf Club in Preston is one of the most long established in area. The club is well regarded for both its 6,290 yard course and it’s it’s friendly welcome and fantastic catering. Extended in 1994 Ashton & Lea’s boasts an impressive clubhouse with good changing facilities for both members and visitors. A fair test for golfers of all abilities Aston & Lea will require good course management as you plot your way around the course.

In an area famed for good golf courses Aston & Lea boasts an understandably good offering to visiting golfers in Preston and surrounding North West. New to Teeofftimes in 2012 they offer excellent value for money as well as a very warm welcome!
