Beedles Lake is situated in the heart of the Wreake Valley with the river meandering through several holes. This is a very playable course; if your game is on form, scoring well is achievable. With some interesting pin positions and guarded greens, be careful not to push it too far. This is an interesting parkland course with deceptively fast greens and unforgiving rough. Great facilities and a recently refurbished clubhouse make this an excellent venue for an enjoyable golfing experience.

Location

10 miles north east of Leicester, just off the A406 and the A46.

Golf course

The clubhouse has had a major refurbishment during 2011 and has a great new lounge and bar area. There is a great menu to choose from if you are hungry after your round and a first class Sunday carvery is available. There are also 2 large HD televisions that show sporting events. Other facilities include driving range, putting green and chipping area.

Our view: Beedles Lake Golf Centre

Beedles Lake is a good test for golfers of all ability. Water is encountered on several holes, including the challenging 17th and signature 18th holes. A friendly and welcoming Clubhouse offers the perfect post-round setting.
