Bingley St Ives has a unique layout that takes the shape of a single loop which weaves it way through parkland, woodland, moorland and then back again, making for both an interesting and enjoyable round. In the 1980’s the course hosted an annual event as part of the PGA tour, and the course was played by the likes of Lee Trevino, Arnold Palmer and Brian Barnes. Past winners include Nick Faldo and Sandy Lyle.

    A great challenge but very hilly so be prepared. The Heather can be a game killer so being straight is a must. The weather helped but the wind can also be a killer I am told. All very friendly there and the last hole …
