By modern day standards, the 6,276 yard course here is not the longest, however it is by no measure an easy course. Testing natural hazards, undulating terrain and heavy winds from the Irish Sea that are hard to tame make this a golfing challenge that requires careful thinking to score well. Club selection can be tough here as there are some blind shots and visual deception to contend with. There are some truly memorable holes present, each having its own traits and characteristics and demand a variety of shots to score level par.
