The Cheshire is considerably longer than the Nicklaus, and demands quality ball striking, but the variety of tees ensures that it is a challenge of golf for all levels of golfer. The golf course is an exquisite blend of heath land and woodland, and takes full advantage of its position to provide stunning panoramic views across the surrounding Cheshire countryside towards the Welsh border.

The Nicklaus Course (De Vere Carden Park)

The neighbouring Nicklaus is shorter in length, with numerous hazards and spectacular holes across streams and lakes and views over the border to the Welsh Hills are outstanding. This is only the fourth golf course that the golfer of the 20th century turned his hand to and is described as a "thinking man's golf course" with double option holes on the 7th and 15th where golfers have to choose which fairway to attack the green from.

De Vere Carden Park is a great venue with 2 contrasting golf courses on one site. If you’re a traditionalist who likes to think his way around the golf course then play The Cheshire, or if American style high risk high reward golf is more your style then The Nicklaus golf course is for you.
