The Celtic Manor golf resort first opened in 1992 and is possibly the most recognised in Wales; with a great reputation for outstanding golf and top quality service. It’s the only 5* golf resort in Wales and consists of two modern clubhouses aswell as some of the best practice facilities in Europe: a floodlit driving range, indoor putting studio, short game practice area and an outdoor well maintained putting green. The club held the 2010 Ryder cup and holds a European Tour event every year, the Wales Open.
