Connemara Golf Club
Galway, West, Ireland
At 6,800 yards off the back tees, Connemara Golf Course requires both accuracy and length in order to shoot low. The course uses sand traps and water to defend itself but the wind is the key factor. Connemara Golf Club is set up as 3 loops of nine holes that complement each other perfectly, providing unique and differing styles of golf hole. Connemara Golf Course uses the natural landscape to form its character and style creating a unique course. From the first hole which is a testing dog leg Connemara will keep golfers guessing from start to finish. The courses main defense is the wind off the Atlantic Ocean, and must be respected to shoot a good score. At 6,800 yards off the back tees, length as well as accuracy is key.
