Cookridge Hall is a par 72 championship course measuring 6,788 yards. There is a good blend of holes, with several doglegs, some tough par 5’s and a couple of lakes that come into play on both the front and back nine. The final hole on the course is a potential card wrecker. It is possible to drive the green in one, but a large water hazard just to the left makes it risky to attempt this.

Golf course

Cookridge Hall is the fastest growing golf facility in the North of England. Designed by the same team that built the Emirates Club in Dubai, the American parkland layout rolls through the countryside of North Leeds and boasts some fantastic views of the Yorkshire Dales. The staff ensure that the course is well kept throughout the year, and the USGA standard greens mean that the golfers can use the playing surface whatever the season or weather.

Our view: Cookridge Hall Golf Club

This course is a popular choice for both visitors and societies, and unsurprisingly attracts a lot of repeat bookings. In terms of course difficulty, this is probably one for the more experienced golfer, however high handicappers will still enjoy the course, but will need to be on good form to score well.
