Park Golf Course (Flaxby Park Golf & Country Club)

The 18 hole par 72 golf course measures 6,992 yards and features USGA greens in addition to numerous hazards that require golfers to carefully plan their game. There is a lot of water on the course, particularly on the 2nd where golfers will need to tee off over water to reach the fairway. The greens are quite quick but always in great condition.

Temple Golf Course (Flaxby Park Golf & Country Club)

The recently opened 9 hole Temple Golf Course is a par 35 and stretches 2,998 yards. It is considered to be easier than the Park Course but is no pushover with several lakes and well manicured bunkers to test golfers abilities.

Location

Situated between York and Harrogate, only a few minutes drive from J47 of the A1.

Golf course

This relatively new golf course utilizes the natural undulating terrain and has some interesting holes that will challenge even the best of golfers. Designed by David Hamstock, Flaxby Park boasts several natural water features and some well positioned bunkers to test golfers abilities.

Our view: Flaxby Park Golf Club

This budding championship golf course is sure to be one of the best courses in the North of England given some time to mature. Having only opened in 2004 the layout of this golf course will demand both distance and accuracy from players to score well.
