Accuracy off the tee is definitely the order of the day with tight tree lined fairways punishing any errant tee shots. The Par 3's here at Girton Golf Club really require some imagination, and club selection is key. The signature par 5 18th hole is a great finish to this beautiful parkland. Girton is a relatively short course measuring just less than 6,000 yards. However what it lacks in length it certainly makes up for in beauty, with its mature tree lined fairways and well manicured greens.

Location

Located just off the M11, 3 miles north of Cambridge City Centre.

Golf course

This classic British parkland course set just outside of Cambridge City Centre, was founded in 1936 and was released to its members who added an extra 9 holes. With great clubhouse facilities Girton have added a half way house to allow golfers to refresh and take a small break from their round.

Our view: Girton Golf Club

One of the county’s most progressive clubs, the par 3's are particularly enjoyable and require great accuracy. A course enjoyed by all handicappers.
