The golf course is described as a mix of parkland and woodland, it measures just less than 6,090 yards and is a par 71. Recent development of the golf course has seen four brand new holes and various modifications to existing holes. These developments have ensured that every hole at Glynneath presents a different challenge to the next. The large mature trees and small lakes positioned around the golf course provide golfers with a variety of obstacles to negotiate during their round.

Location

Situated in South Wales within the Brecon Beacons National Park, it can be accessed easily from the M4 and A465.

Golf course

Set in the beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park golfers can enjoy both a challenging round of golf and the picturesque landscape surrounding them. The well-designed 18 hole golf course will prove a test for golfers of all abilities. The clubhouse has three bars, a large function room as well as an upstairs seating area that overlooks the 1st tee and the 12th and 18th greens. If you’re lucky you might catch a glimpse of the golf clubs president, welsh celebrity Max Boyce.

Glynneath Golf Club welcomes visitors and offers competitive golf society packages. The golf course is relatively flat unlike its mountainous surroundings. The large fish that can be found near the 16th tee always prove a source of entertainment for members and visitors alike.
