Fairwood Park (Fairwood Park Golf Club)

Fairwood Park is a 6,658 yard parkland course that hosted the Welsh PGA Championships twice during the 1990s, and is therefore the only course in Swansea that can claim ‘Championship’ status.' As both the flattest and the longest golf course in the Swansea Area, Fairwood Park genuinely does provide an enjoyable round to players right across the age spectrum. And though it may not be as well known as some of its neighbours along the South Wales coast it also lays proud claim to being Swansea's only 'Championship' status golf course as no other local course has ever held PGA tournaments.
