    Both courses in good condition, championship course very tight with plenty of water, greens a litte fluffy. Hotel a little tired but still fine, weekend good value for money but you need plenty of money for the beer

    This is truly one of the best courses I have ever played. I was in Shropshire visiting a friend and had no idea of what a treat I was in for. It was pouring with rain when we played but it in no way spoilt the round. …
