The course was generally fine but attention is needed on most of the tee boxes that were uneven.

The layout can be a bit confusing for a first time player.

For the money (£15 for 18) this course is real value. We played in high wind and mostly the course was forgiving enough to play well.

I found the course was dry and although had the benefit of the bounce making the ball go further, the course was in need of some rain. The greens were being holatined, and affected ball stroke. I will play the course again as there are some nice challenging holes that I know I can improve on next time. There are some challenging holes and be aware of the rough rough as you will not find your ball if you go in there, made your club selection important. As it was the first time playing the course it was on times difficult to know where the next tee was as it was not clearly marked as to where it was from one tee to the next.

Average condition given the time of the year and will need significant investmet to get it to the level that the website pictures were taken (circa 2006)
