Innerleithen Golf Club is a Par 35 9 hole golf course that measures 3,033 yards. The golf course is set on a river bed and as a result is easily walk able with only 3 tees being elevated. With three Par 3’s, four Par 4’s and two Par 5’s Innerleithen offers various different tests that will get even the most experienced of golfers thinking. One of the most popular holes is the Par 5 6th which begins with an elevated tee shot. Time to open up and give it everything you've got, avoid going left though as you’ll be over the road and out of bounds, don’t go straight either as you may just catch the burn that runs the length of this hole. Your second shot depends if you hit it long or not and even for big hitters it's a tough second. Stay out of trouble and a birdie awaits!

Golf course

Innerleithen Golf Club is set in the Scottish borders and enjoys magnificent surroundings. Opened in 1886 the golf course was the work of golf architect and 3 times Open Champion Willie Park Jnr. The Leithen Valley and its river form an integral part of the golf course and require some accurate and thoughtful shot making in order to score well. Don’t be put off by the fact Innerleithen only has 9 holes as it’s a great challenge, in a lovely location and the green keepers and members provide a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.

A well-priced very challenging nine hole golf course with one of the toughest opening holes in the Scottish borders. Hit it big on this Par 3 177 yard hole and you're in the water, tweak it left and you're in the burn, anything right and you're in the lap of the gods. So get it on the green and a par will feel like a birdie!
