Golf course

Voted Golf Course of The Year in 1995 the Donald Steel Championship course offers a rewarding parkland round. There are several water features on this long par 73 notably the magnificent waterfall backdrop to the closing hole. This is rivalled by the par 5 3rd hole that measures 602 yards with its lake fronted green. The Premiership course cannot be classed as secondary as it is a beautifully presented track with some of the best scenery on offer in the region. The water features are again pivotal in its challenge and this par 71 can be scored well on if you keep the ball on the fairways consistently.
