Mapperley Golf Club is a challenging parkland golf course with rolling fairways and fast greens. It is a Par 71 golf course measuring around 6,335 yards off the white tees. With mature trees thrown in as well, accuracy is the key to scoring well on this golf course. The long par 5 12th is one of the toughest with a sharp dog leg left, it tests both your accuracy and length of drive. The 13th again is a tricky one with a stream crossing the fairway and a well protected green. It is certainly not a round for the faint hearted.

Situated 3 miles outside of Nottingham, just off the B684.

Golf course

In 1932 Mapperley Golf Club was established in 1932 as a 9 hole golf course. The golf course was then expanded to the 18 holes it is today when John Mason redesigned it in 1983. Since then there has been a continual investment programme involving regular improvements to the golf course and the clubhouse. The clubhouse now boasts a comfortable lounge, a dining room and a fully stocked bar.

Our view: Mapperley Golf Club

With stunning views over the Trent valley and the vale of Belvoir this testing golf course will prove enjoyable for golfers of all abilities. The course is tight and very hilly with some interesting holes sculpted into the hillside. Overall it has to be one of the best value for money tee times we have to offer.
