Neath Golf Club is a Par 72 golf course that measures 6,458 yards. The most famous hole on the golf course is named “The Pulpit” because of the height of the tee in relation to the fairway below. From the tee it is Death or Glory; most players find the temptation to have a go all out irresistible. Should your tee shot miss the huge rocks, bracken, gorse, TV masts, heather and wooden steps and many other nasty impediments on its flight to the fairway below, you are left with a fairly straight forward shot to the green.

Situated 2 miles from Neath town centre, just off the A4230.

Golf course

Neath Golf Club was founded in 1934 and sits majestically on top of a high hill at Cadoxton. The golf course was designed by the world famous James Braid, the five times winner of The Open. Golfers will enjoy a demanding round in a spectacular setting as there are views of the Vale of North and the outstanding West Glamorgan countryside. As well as an excellent golf course visitors can enjoy fine ales and good food in the clubhouse.
