The yardage for this par 71 course is 6,468 yards from the white tees and it features some interesting holes. The third hole is a tough sweeping dogleg par 4. A bunker awaits to the left of the fairway to catch any long drives, however the more experienced players may want to try to cut the corner by driving over the trees on the right hand side to reach the undulating green which is well guarded by bunkers.

Golf course

Newark is ideally situated in the picturesque and tranquil countryside on the border between Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire. The course is relatively flat, so not too strenuous to walk, meaning that players can focus their attentions on the challenges that await. Wind generally does not come into play here as the course is well sheltered by the many trees that line the tight fairways.

This great woodland course is superbly designed to incorporate the surrounding landscape. The layout of the course is sure to challenge golfers of all abilities, who will feel that they have got their moneys worth on this great value for money course.
