One of the most underrated courses in the East Midlands, Oakmere Park is a heathland classic that stays in excellent condition year round. With 27 holes available the course rarely gets too busy allowing you the freedom to stroll the delightful tree lined fairways at your leisure. The Admirals Course is the main 18, named after Admiral Sherbrooke V.C and is certainly comparable with its more prestigious neighbours. Designed by Frank Peninck in 1974 this is a great course with a state of the art coaching facility, driving range and modern clubhouse to match.

    Played both courses. Both very good but preferred the Admirals course. Greens on both course very good

    Played out annual society day on the Commanders course. Great course , greens really good and had a good laugh. Look forward to next year

    Played the day after boxing day. It had poured with rain the day before and was amazed how dry and in such good condition the course was in. Great day out , loved it and staff very helpful
