Although it is not the longest of all golf courses, this is a typical moorland course at par 68 and 5,268 yards long. It offers stunning views of the picturesque Devon countryside throughout the entire course and several holes overlooking Okehampton. But be prepared to encounter one of the toughest tees in Devon on the 11th hole at 402 yards.

Location

Located in the town of Okehampton just off the A30.

Golf course

The greens are well maintained and can be very quick during the summer months leaving even the experienced putters struggling to get down in two on some holes. The clubhouse ensures visitors go away without the possible disappointment of a poor round in their head but instead are well fed from the excellent local produce. The club will always try to accommodate requests especially for your larger societies who need a bit more flexibility.

The course is perfect for golfers of all abilities to test your golfing skills. It may be short in yardage, but it doesn’t mean it’s easy.
