The 6,515 yard course here is quite open and can be deceptively challenging due to the large number of hazards dotted around the course. All eighteen holes offer a different challenge with some particularly interesting par 5’s to contend with.

Considering that Ruddington Grange only opened for play in 1988, it has matured incredibly well and has a growing reputation for being one of the best kept courses in the region. The attractive parkland layout, welcoming atmosphere and the well maintained greens and fairways are just some of the reasons why this is a popular choice with visitors and societies.

Our view: Ruddington Grange Golf Club

It’s a good idea to stock up on golf balls before playing here as there are several water hazards that come into play on eight of the holes, meaning that any wayward shots are likely to be punished. This is a good option as the course presents a challenging but fair test to golfers of all abilities.
