Ballesteros' Masters Course (The Shire London Golf Course)

The main course is the Seve ‘Masters’ Course, the course is designed so there are six par 5s, six par 4s and six par 3s, and on both the front 9 and the back 9, no two consecutive holes are the same par, with equal numbers of par 3s, 4s and 5s. This gives maximum variety and maximum enjoyment and will certainly keep you on your toes through out your round.

Golf course

The Shire Golf Club is unique in it’s own right, designed by the golfing legend Seve Ballesteros The Shire is his first and only course designed in the UK. Based on the outskirts of London, just a short drive from the hustle and bustle of the city and you are presented with some amazing surroundings and a great place to play golf. The course is a good test of golf as some holes have a distinct links feel with gorse and high level fescues. In other areas they are creating woodland plantations with over 10,000 mature trees waiting to trap any loose tee shots.
