Southfield Golf Club
Oxfordshire, South, England
Southfield Golf Club is predominantly built on sand meaning the course drains fantastically well rendering it playable all year. There is a challenging start to Southfield Golf Club, and focus is needed on the first 3 holes in order to avoid dropping shots early on. Measuring 6325 off the white tee’s, the course favours the longer hitter but there are plenty of hazards to punish errant shots. The course itself was designed by Harry Colt, one of the famous designers quality golf courses.

Golfshake.comA very mature course within the residential boundary of Oxford. Excellent greens and tees but the fairways were showing signs of the hot summer with quite a few bare patches. A reasonable challenge.
