A championship parkland golf course, St Thomas’s Priory is a picturesque 18 hole golf course set in ancient woodland and lakes built by the Dominican Monks in the 19th Century. The golf course is built on sand stone which means the drainage here is superb, offering top levels of playability right through the winter months. Several of the holes require careful shot selection, including the 2nd – a 183 yard par 3.

Golf course

This Championship golf venue is situated in the woodlands of the Armitage Park Estate. The golf course is a cracking 18 holes, with the finishing par 4 being of particular note with the 150 yard carry over water. The clubhouse is classicly styled and recently refurbished to high standards and offers a perfect environment for your post round drink. The extensive gardens surrounding the 19th century Hawksyard Hall and Dominican Priory provide a stunning backdrop. The golf course is always kept in good condition and is playable all year round.
