Overlooking the Dornoch Firth, Tain arguably offers one of the best settings imaginable in the Highlands for a round of golf. The sea on one side and the backdrop of the mountains behind offer the perfect surroundings to this challenging and beautiful course. Designed by 'Old' Tom Morris, the layout of holes guarantees an interesting round for beginners or experts.

Located 5 minutes west of the town of Tain, in the Highlands

Golf course

You will be impressed by the breathtaking views that greet you as you step out onto the 1st hole of this golf course with both sea and mountainous terrains on offer. This course provides a purposeful round for both beginner and experts and due to its sheltered location you are subject to favourable weather conditions all year round. With terrific views over the 18th hole, the clubhouse is well worth a visit for that post-round drink.

An excellent links course with all the characteristics you would expect, it provides a fair and exciting round. By combining the far reaching views and the excellent greens this course is a joy to play.
