The 18 hole golf course at The Abbey Hotel Golf & Country Club was designed by legendary golf course architect Donald Steel. It has matured to become a top quality golf course of championship standard and regularly plays host to county matches and high profile corporate days. The natural surroundings have been incorporated into the overall design to provide golfers with a challenging round of golf. Look out for the 13th hole in particular which features two mature oak trees to create a challenging uphill par 4 drive between them. r 4 drive between two mature oak trees at 250 yards with the green concealed out of sight at the top of the hill.

With a fine championship length parkland course, The Abbey is an ideal golfing location. Constructed in 1975 and designed by one of Britain’s leading golf architects Donald Steel the golf course has matured into one of the best parkland courses in the area. With extensive upgrades in recent years The Abbey has become home to the Best Western Seniors Masters Final.
