With variety and quality right the way through the course, the Open at The Nottinghamshire is a well designed parkland layout. With mature trees and well placed water hazards it has real character with no two holes the same. The delightful holes furthest away from the clubhouse are where you are most likely to see wildlife roaming across the inviting fairways. Kept in excellent condition year round, this is fast becoming one of the most talked about courses in the region.

Having undergone a major redesign in 1997 by Peter Allis, the Masters at The Nottinghamshire is a real match for its older neighbour. Maintained to the same high quality standards, the subtle borrows and imposing oaks give it a far more mature look than its age, while grass faced bunkers and perilous water hazards keep you on your toes throughout. The 11th tee is an interesting feature, placed on a peninsula that just into the centre of a lake. At 5946 yds Par 70, it may not be as long but it is still an excellent an enjoyable course to play.

Golf course

Nottinghamshire Golf & Country Club was previously known as Cotgrave Place Golf Club and consists of two excellent golf courses set in over 240 acres of beautiful Nottinghamshire countryside. Set around an impressive lake and water complex, golfers can expect to see plenty of wildlife. The service and staff are fantastic and is something that the club very proud of.

Two of the best courses in the area, The Nottinghamshire is a fantastic country club with a popular following. Both courses here are incredibly well kept and provide challenging and great quality golf in the wonderful surroundings of the Nottinghamshire countryside.
