Course Information

Westerham Golf Club is a great test to your golf course management skills. Measuring 6,270 yards with a par of 72, the tree lined fairways and strategic bunkering offers up a wonderful all round golfing experience. The “eye of the storm” 11th hole is a real treat of a par 3 and will require nerve and solid long iron to a protected green. The closing hole is a fitting finale to a lovely round, but the lake positioning is less accommodating than the clubhouse welcome that awaits you after.

We played this on July 1st, in 38C! A lovely course but due to the hot weather the fairways were like concrete and the ball could bounce anywhere, so this course does become tricky in dry conditions. Be prepared for a good shot to be harshly penalised by a bounce.
The greens were in good condition, but we did find them quite markedly inconsistent in terms of speed. A lot of trees on the course, and we all felt that the rough between the trees needs to be considerably reduced. I fully accept a restricted shot from in the trees, but I would like to be able to at least find my ball! Pro shop and bar were fine. Definitely go again when it softens up.

Newly opened 8th green after the winter temp is a great new addition, a few new bunkers and great nick.
A new long game opening this year too.
Views across 9th, 18th and 11th are amazing, great place for all levels, but careful, if you miss a fairway your in the trees on most holes.
Green staff working on keeping this place immaculate all day and clubhouse food and staff were great also

Breakfast prior to round in the club house was very tasty. Course layout and hole design were excellent. Good for course for all levels offering numerous challenges throughout the round.Overall was a very enjoyable round on one of the nicest courses I have played.
