Windyhill Golf Course measures 6,154 yards in length and has a Par of 71. It has a good mix of heathland and parkland holes and a number of daunting par 4’s, most notably the 9th and 12th, making a round of golf at Windyhill Golf Club diverse and thoroughly enjoyable. If you manage to walk off with par’s on these two holes you will be very happy.

Located just 8 miles North West of Glasgow, easily accessed via the A81.

Golf course

Windyhill Golf Club was established in 1908, but has seen a number of changes over the years. Originally named Canniesburn Golf Club the name changed to Windyhill Golf Club in 1924 when James Braid redesigned the golf course. To this day the golf club still maintains a traditional feel with all visitors experiencing a warm welcome.

Our view: Windyhill Golf Club

Windyhill Golf Club has a great mixture of holes which makes for a very interesting round of golf. On a calm day you might be able to get a good score on the go, but beware if the wind starts to blow as the golf course becomes a different beast all together.
