Now open to both sexes, Wirral Ladies Golf Club was formed in 1894 by the female family members of Royal Liverpool as somewhere for them to play. It was designed by Harry Hilton, a local golfer who won The Open twice in the 1890s and is laid out on a delightful area of Wirral heathland. With excellent drainage on to sandstone, Wirral Ladies stays in excellent condition year round and is the closest course to Liverpool city centre.

Golfshake.comnice parkland course, not a big hitters course, you have to think your way around and avoid the gorse to have a good round, club house is good and friendly when open
