Rhondda Golf Club was established in 1910 and is located nearby The Celtic Manor Resort which was home to the Ryder Cup in 2010. Rhondda offers a while range of catering services, the clubhouse is open to not only members but visitors as well. Views over the countryside help to make the clubhouse a relaxing environment for golfers to enjoy before or after their round of golf. The clubhouse can also be hired for a range of private functions.
Rhondda Golf Course is a mountain, parkland course measuring 6000 years with a par of 70. The course is challenging and combining this with the wilderness of the area makes an interesting and unique round of golf. The course is situated 1000 feet above sea level, with lovely views of the Bristol Channel from the elevated 7th tee. There are also views of the remnants of the local collieries due to the club’s roots to coal mining.
