Canwick Park Golf Club has been involved in the game of golf since 1893 when the club was first formed. Throughout the years the club has vacated both location and clubhouse a number of times before settling on its current location. The newly-opened practice ground complements the remaining putting area well and is ideal to dust off the cobwebs before stepping onto the first tee. When walking off the 18th you will be warmly greeted in the clubhouse whose staff will be more than happy to provide both food and beverages for you to enjoy in the spike bar or patio area.
The course at Canwick Park Golf Club has been altered three times since its opening in 1974, with the likes of Hawtree & Sons and David Thomas both playing their part in producing the wonderful course. The parkland course is always in superb condition, winter or summer, with both visitors and members singing the praises of the hard-working green staff. From the long, opening par 5, 1st, to the hazardous 18th, the course will test your game to the full and penalise anyone that becomes distracted by the stunning views over Lincoln and the Lincoln Cathedral. The one-shotters are lined with bunkers on the 7th and trees on the 5th and 13th giving a good example of the challenges that are to be faced on the longer holes.
